Charity of Choice 2023-2024

RUA welcomed Liz and a group of volunteers from ADDR (Ayrshire Dog Drone Rescue) on site today who were there to formally thank the team for their 12-month campaign in selecting them for their Charity of Choice for the 2023-2024 fundraise period. During this time RUA employees raised a total of £1,091.57 through a variety of events in order to raise some extra funds for this organisation. ADDR consists of a dedicated team of volunteers working to reunite lost dogs in Ayrshire. Providing guidance and performing search and rescue operations using advanced tools like thermal equipment, drones, and humane traps as needed. All funds raised within Ayrshire, stay in Ayrshire, and are reinvested to aid owners in reuniting with their cherished canine companions.
