Charity of Choice 2024-2025

This year our staff at RUA voted to support Crosshouse Children’s Fund as our Charity of Choice for the 2024-2025 period.  We welcomed Lucy from the charity to the Irvine facility for a formal cheque presentation in the amount of £1,338.  This charity is for babies and young people in Ayrshire and Arran, from the tiniest babies in the neonatal unit at Ayrshire Maternity to the children’s wards at Crosshouse and across the community.  While NHS Ayrshire and Arran do a tremendous job treating and caring for patients, it is the charity’s purpose to work closely with the staff at the hospitals to support them with resources and funding not provided by the NHS to create positive hospital experiences for children and their families during and after their hospital journey.  We truly hope that we have helped a little by showing our support for all their efforts
